LAST TIME AT THE BATES CARNIVAL
The Catamounts last Bates Carnival participation was in January 2023. Vermont dominated in the third and final day of the Carnival, orchestrating an impressive comeback victory winning all four races and securing the overall victory with 826 points. Ben Ogden and
Haley Brewster triumphed in the 10k Freestyle, while Mathias Tefre and Caroline Jones claimed victories in the slalom events. The men's Nordic team excelled, with Ogden, Nystedt, and Westervelt sweeping the top four spots in the 15k Freestyle. On the slopes, Jones earned her first EISA win, Clément finished second, and Tefre took first in the slalom, leading Vermont to a commanding performance across all disciplines.
