BOSTON- The America East Conference released its 2025 preseason coaches' poll. The Catamounts are projected to finish second with 22 points after coming off a season where they were crowned America East Conference Champions.
In addition to the team recognition, Sophia Lefranc, and Merle Vaandrager were named to the preseason All-Conference team.

Voting was conducted by the league's head coaches, who were not allowed to vote for their own teams or student-athletes. New Hampshire topped the poll with 23 points and four first-place votes. UAlbany was picked third with 15 points, followed by UMass Lowell (13), Maine (12), and Bryant (5).
This is the second consecutive preseason All-Conference selection for Lefranc, who is coming off a 2024 campaign which she started all 19 games, tallying eight goals and four assists.
Vaandrager appeared in 15 games, starting 13. She recorded 56 saves and posted a save percentage of 0.789.
