COACH'S QUOTE
"Trying to get double victories for both teams was too lofty, given a few holes in the lineup, but getting a slew of individual wins was really good" head coach
Matt Belfield said. "Getting all of the golds in the men's distance events was great.
Ian Denis' first sub-15 was great and I though
Wyatt Matyas ran an especially brave steeple.
Zane Russom's second consecutive personal best in the javelin was impressive too.
Sonia John with two victories and steady improvement in the 400 is very encouraging.
Phoebe Koski and
Jane Leighton ran giant personal bests to record the second and third-fastest times in school history. Great show of fitness and improved technique for both in the 1-2 sweep of the steeple. We have two weeks to get ready for the America East and the start of our championship season. We'll work to keep everyone healthy and pointed toward success.
