Poulin-Labelle had a 10-point week as the Catamounts won four games, two at Holy Cross and two at home against Providence. On Tuesday afternoon, she scored four goals and two assists for six points in a 9-0 win over the Crusaders. The six-point game set a new program record for points in a single contest. It was also the third time in Poulin-Labelle's career she's had a hat trick, only three players in program history have scored three or more goals three times.
McPherson posted wins all four of the Catamounts games last week. She made 99 saves and gave up just three goals as UVM moved into second place in Hockey East. She also recorded her first shutout of the season in Vermont's 9-0 win over Holy Cross.
The Catamounts will travel to No. 1 Northeastern Friday, January 28 for a 1 versus 2 matchup in the Hockey East standings. Action from Matthews Arena is slated for 2 p.m. and the game will broadcast live on NESN.
