BURLINGTON, Vt. – The University of Vermont Athletic Department has announced the promotional schedule for the 2022-2023 men's hockey season. The promotions will take place at home games at Gutterson Fieldhouse. The schedule includes a variety of exciting promotions and ticket discounts.

Men's Hockey Schedule
Men's ice hockey will kickoff their season with the TD Bank Home Opener on Saturday, October 1, and host UConn at 7 p.m. The first 500 fans to visit the marketing table will receive TD Bank clappers.
The Catamounts will conclude their opening weekend on Sunday, October 2, and face UConn for the second time, at 4 p.m. All kids 12 and younger wearing their favorite youth jersey will receive a free ticket at the box office.
Vermont will return home on Saturday, October 22 to face Holy Cross at 7 p.m. Throughout the game, there will be multiple opportunities to win prizes. Visit the marketing table for more information.
To honor all active and retired military personnel on Veterans Day, the Cats will host UNH for their Military Appreciation game presented by Milton Cat on Friday, November 11, at 7 p.m. All active and retired military personnel will receive free admission to the game with a valid Military ID card. The team will be wearing special edition Military Appreciation jerseys that will be auctioned off starting at puck drop and will close a week later. Visit

The annual TD Bank Teddy Bear Toss will take place in between the first and second period of the game on Saturday, November 12, when the Catamounts host UNH in the second game of the weekend set. Fans are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear to the game to throw onto the ice. Teddy bears will benefit Lund, the University of Vermont Children's Hospital, and the Boys & Girls Club in Burlington.
Please join us as we give thanks to our teachers and coaches on Friday, November 25, as the Cats will face RPI for their Thank You Coaches and Teachers Night at 7 p.m. All coaches, teachers, and kids 12 and younger can receive the group ticket rate for this game. At the end of the game all kids 12 and younger are encouraged to visit the marketing table for a postgame Ask the Cats.
'Tis the season to cheer on our Cats on Friday, December 2, when Vermont will host Maine at 7 p.m. UVM will conclude its weekend series against Maine on Saturday, December 3, at 5 p.m. and Keurig Dr Pepper will be running a Can for Coffee Food Drive. Fans are encouraged to donate non-perishable canned food items in return for Keurig Dr Pepper Coffee. Stick around after the game to receive a team poster courtesy of UVM Print and Mail and autographs from the student-athletes in the main lobby of Gutterson Fieldhouse.
Men's Hockey will also Rally Around Mental Health during their Saturday game against the Black Bears.
Our number one fan, Rally, will host a huge birthday party on Sunday, December 11. Prior to the start of the game, come celebrate Rally's Birthday and help kickoff Youth Day presented by Healthy Living as Vermont hosts Dartmouth at 4 p.m. Bring your skates and helmet to skate with the team after the game too!
Join us on Friday, December 30, at 7 p.m. as your Vermont Catamounts will host Lindenwood for their first of two weekend series games. Friday's game is presented by Vermont National Country Club.
Celebrate New Year's Eve with us in Catamount Country as the Catamountss conclude their series against Lindenwood on Saturday, December 31, at 4 p.m.
M&T Bank is proud to sponsor the men's ice hockey game versus AIC on Saturday, January 14, at 7 p.m. M&T Bank will be giving out replica jerseys in the main lobby to the first 500 fans.
Vermont will return home on Friday, January 27, to play Merrimack for their first of two weekend series games. The game on Friday is slated for 7 p.m. and will be sponsored by DR Power.
On Saturday, January 28, Vermont will conclude their weekend series versus Merrimack at 7 p.m. for their Green out the Gut game presented by Casella Waste. Casella will provide a giveaway and all fans are encouraged to wear green to this game.
The Catamounts are happy to announce the return of Fan Appreciation Night presented by Handy Toyota! As a thank you for your support, we will be giving away a variety of prizes throughout the game on Sunday, February 5, at 2 p.m. when Vermont takes on Providence.
Men's Hockey will Rally Against Cancer on Saturday, February 18, against Northeastern at 7 p.m. Rally Against Cancer games are presented by Mascoma Bank. We encourage all fans to wear lavender to this game, as it is the universal cancer awareness color. The team will be wearing special edition Rally Against Cancer jerseys which will be auctioned off at the conclusion of the game.
Lucky fans will receive Vermont Lottery giveaways during the game on Friday, February 24, when the men's ice hockey team will take on Boston University at 7 p.m.
Saluting our seniors, Vermont will take the ice one final time during their regular season and face Boston University for a second time on Saturday, February 25, at 7:30 p.m. for Senior Weekend presented by the UVM Alumni Association. Please join us in celebrating and recognizing our seniors.
