HANCOCK, Mass. – Joachim Jagge Lindstol led Vermont Saturday with a giant slalom win as the Catamounts earned four podiums on their way to a Williams Carnival win. The Catamounts have now won three of the four EISA carnivals this season. Vermont finished with 887 points, 115 more than second place Dartmouth.

Team Scores
Lindstol won the day with a combined run time of 1:36.34. It was Lindstol's fourth podium of the season and his second win of the year.
Declan McCormack earned his fourth top-10 of the season placing seventh overall in a two-run time of 1:37.57.
Mathias Tefre was .07 seconds behind McCormack placing eighth overall.
In the women's giant slalom
Marina Vilanova earned her first podium of the season placing second overall with a two-run time of 1:40.81. Her second run time of 48.94 was the third fastest in the field. Saint Michael's Helene Kristoffersen won the event with a blistering combined time of 1:39.29. Justine Clément picked up her second top-10 of the year placing seventh overall with a two-run time of 1:41.54.
Ella Renzoni was the Catamounts final scorer placing 24th overall in a two-run time of 1:43.23.
For the second straight day
Haley Brewster was UVM's top finisher from Prospect Mountain. In the 5k Skate she placed third overall for the Catamounts in a time of 12:12.1. It was her fourth podium of the season. UNH's Lucinda Anderson won the event in a time of 12:04.6.
Waverly Gebhardt (6th, 12:26.6),
Libby Tuttle (7th, 12:27.3) and
Marielle Ackermann (8th, 12:30.1) all placed in the top-10 for UVM.
In the men's 10k Skate
Jacob Nystedt was Vermont's top finisher placing third overall in a time of 21:36.4. Dartmouth's John Steel Hagenbuch won the event with a time of 21:23.7.
Finn Sweet was fifth overall in a time of 22:01.9 and
Greg Burt was their final scorer placing 11th (22:31.0).
The alpine and Nordic teams are back in action next weekend for the NCAA East Regional and EISA Championships hosted by St. Lawrence in Lake Placid, N.Y. Action will kick off on Thursday morning with a giant slalom makeup from Whiteface Mountain. Nordic action will take place Friday and Saturday from Mt. Van Hoevenberg. The Catamounts have won 38 EISA Championships and the last three.
