BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont will host Bryant, Binghamton, Maine, New Hampshire, NJIT, UMass Lowell, UMBC, and UAlbany on Saturday (Nov. 2) at Hard'Ack for the America East Championship meet. The Women's 5k will begin at 11:00 a.m., with the Men's 8k following at 12:00 p.m. The meet will be streamed live on America East TV with Brian McLaughlin and Ryan Robitaille on the call.

Parking: Limited spectator parking will be available on-site at Hard'ack Recreation Area, located at 179 Congress St in St. Albans. Additional spectator parking will be available at Collins-Perley Sports and Fitness Center, located 2.1 miles down the road, at 890 Fairfax Rd. A shuttle bus will bring spectators to and from Collins-Perley to Hard'ack.
VERMONT WOMEN OUTLOOK
- The women hosted the Fall Foliage Invitational last weekend and placed second overall with 49 points. MegAnne Gilmore, who finished second with a time of 17:57.5, and Clare Kelly, who finished fifth with a time of 18:16.00, were the Catamounts' top finishers on the day.
- Caroline Deiss, Erica Eastman, Isabelle Fleuette, Gilmore, Kelly, Emma Leary, Claire MacDonald, Siena Stanley, Hope Tyska, and Cara Van de Meulebroecke will be the women's starters.
VERMONT MEN OUTLOOK
SCOUTING THE FIELD
- During the 2023 Championship, the Women's 5k was won by Binghamton, who finished with a team score of 69. Vermont finished second with a score of 77, and UMass Lowell followed with 81.
- UMass Lowell won the men's 8k 2023 Championship with a team score of 34. They've held the America East title since 2020. Maine and New Hampshire came in second and third with scores of 74 and 97, respectively.
