BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Vermont Alpine and Nordic Skiing schedule has been announced for the 2025 year. The schedule features six carnivals, the EISA Championships/NCAA East Regional, and the NCAA Championships. Locations consist of two carnivals in Vermont, two carnivals in New Hampshire, and one carnival in Maine and New York.

2025 Skiing Roster
ALPINE
- To begin the 2025 season, the Catamounts will participate in the Bates Carnival, seeing the Alpine squad compete in Newry, ME at the Sunday River Resort. On Friday (Jan. 10), Alpine skiing will be competing in the Giant Slalom, and on Saturday (Jan. 11), Alpine skiing will compete in the Slalom.
- Vermont Alpine Skiing will then compete in the St. Lawrence Carnival on Thursday (Jan. 16) and Friday (Jan. 17) in Wilmington, NY on Whiteface Mtn. Thursday's event will be the Giant Slalom while on Friday the team will compete in the Slalom.
- The Catamount's third carnival of the year will be the Saint Michael's Carnival taking place on Friday (Jan. 31) and Saturday (Feb. 1) in Jeffersonville, Vt. from Smuggler's Notch. On Friday, Alpine will compete in the Giant Slalom while on Saturday, the team will part take in the Slalom.
- Vermont's fourth carnival of the season will be the Dartmouth Carnival taking place on Friday (Feb. 7) and Saturday (Feb. 8) in Etna, NH from the Dartmouth Skiway. Friday's Raceday will include the Giant Slalom while Saturday's Raceday will see the Slalom.
- The fifth carnival on the campaign will be the Middlebury Carnival taking place on Friday (Feb. 14) and Saturday (Feb. 15) in Hancock, Vt. from the Middlebury Snow Bowl. Friday's contest will be the Slalom while Saturday's contest includes the Giant Slalom.
- Vermont's final carnival of the season is the UNH Carnival, which also includes the EIAS Championships and NCAA East Regional, taking place on Friday (Feb. 21) and Saturday (Feb. 22) in Franconia Notch, NH at the Mittersill Alpine Resort on Cannon Mtn. Friday's Raceday will include the Giant Slalom while on Saturday, the team will compete in the Slalom.
NORDIC
- To begin the 2025 season, the Catamounts will participate in the Bates Carnival, seeing the Nordic squad compete in Rumford, ME at the Rumford Nordic Center. On Friday (Jan. 10), Nordic skiing will be in the 1.3k Classic Sprint, and on Saturday (Jan. 11), Nordic skiing will compete in 1.5k Skate.
- Vermont Nordic Skiing will then compete in the St. Lawrence Carnival on Friday (Jan. 17) and Saturday (Jan. 18) in Lake Placid, NY on Mt. Van Hoevenberg. Friday's event will be the 20k Skate while on Saturday the team will compete in the 7.5k Interval Start Classic.
- The Catamount's third carnival of the year will be the Saint Michael's Carnival taking place on Friday (Jan. 31) and Saturday (Feb. 1) in Huntington, Vt. from Sleepy Hollow. On Friday, Nordic will compete in the 10k Skate while on Saturday, the team will part take in the 3x5 Classic Relay.

Friday's Raceday will include the 7.5k Classic Interval Start while Saturday's Raceday will include the 20k Skate Mass Start.

NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS

- Alpine will be skiing in Etna, NH at the Dartmouth Skiway on Wednesday (Mar. 5) and Friday (Mar. 7). Wednesday will be the Giant Slalom race while Friday will be the Slalom race.
- Nordic will be skiing in Hanover, NH at the Oak Hill Outdoor Center on Thursday (Mar. 6) and Saturday (Mar. 8). Thursday will be the 7.5k Classic Individual Start while Saturday's event will be the 20k Skate Mass Start.
