COACH'S QUOTE
"Today brought a lot of what we expect in terms of a first meet of the year.," head coach
Matt Belfield said. "We had some really good performances and others that weren't as good. That said, we now have a starting point from which to build – as individuals and the team as a whole. I saw great support for teammates and people working hard for every centimeter and hundredth of a second. Some outstanding marks were generated by
Kayla Myers who had bests in winning the high jump and the hurdles. Charlotte's 1000 was fantastic as well. Andie and Hannah going 1-2 in the 3000 was a highlight. Victories for Zane, Pierce and Andrew in the high jump, the dash, and 1000 were noteworthy for the men. We're excited to get back at it on Saturday for sure."
