One of the top track and field athletes in UVM history, Regan Coffey rewrote the record books during her four-year career. She graduated holding four individual school records and was part of three record-setting relay teams. Coffey posted the top times at Vermont in the 200 outdoors (24.40), and three indoor marks: the 55-meter dash (7.13), 60-meter dash (7.67) and the 200 (25.03).

As a junior Coffey set the school records in the 55 and 200 indoor events, while finishing second in both events at the America East Championships. That year she also finished third in the 55-meter hurdles at the league championship and won the New England Championship in the event.

During the outdoor season she helped Vermont capture both the America East and New England Championship. At the conference championship meet Coffey scored 22 of Vermont’s record-setting 226.5 points, finishing second in the 100 (12.08), third in the 200 (25.15) and fourth in the 100 hurdles (14.90).

As a senior Coffey helped the Catamounts once again win the America East Championship as she finished second in the 100 hurdles, fourth in the 100 and sixth in the 200. She followed that up the next week at the New England Championships by finishing third in the 100 hurdles (14.66) and fourth in the 100 (12.26).
